Episcopal Day School is a co-educational, college-prep, preschool through high school facility located in downtown Gadsden, Alabama. It was founded in 1952 by the Reverend John Speaks, and celebrates its 66th anniversary this year.

EDS currently has 28 students with a faculty of 19 teachers, and IGR is comprised of the 18 middle and high school students, along with faculty mentors. The school is sponsored and supported by the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter, which has helped maintain the institution and all of its programs, including BEST Robotics.
